NAME – DAVID NEOPANEY
BORN IN GANGTOK SIKKIM
Being a crazy kid and spend 14 years, born in a small city Gangtok, Sikkim. being attached to a huge country called India.
Since 14 years of age, I left my education and I had been out of my home town and roaming around and worked as a bartender in this huge country almost for 5 years.
And finally magic happened when I was 18 years of age and working in one place which is called Ladakh, India.
It was falling for someone for the first time and she was Japanese and I decided to be completely committed to my Japanese girlfriend and we had really amazing time for 3 years but always we had to be far from each other because we were not from the same country.
So we decided to get married and we finally did it, when I was completely 21 years old, that was the legal age of marriage in India.
We decided to be together and live in japan and also planned to have kids so I moved to Japan and here we go boom boom (she gave birth to a little cute boy) and we named him (LEHON)
I had lots of problems in japan about the Japanese language. before I go to Japan I didn’t expect that Japanese people are very poor in English, So I had to focus on learning the Japanese language first, to begin with.
And I joined Japanese language school and I tried really hard to learn even a little conversation in 2 months and yes I did learn little about how to have a conversation and I also learn about hard Japanese working culture and many other things, which are very much related in daily basis like greetings, respect others feelings, understand others thought without being said, and many other things which are very important to know if I want to live more in japan.
After 1 year working in a few places in Nagoya, I was really tired and that was just a part-time job and I couldn’t earn good money. being a father of a little boy and at the same time being a husband in 21 years of age is damn hard. but it was harder then what I expected because it wasn’t my own country, that was japan.
I joined IKEA Nagakute in January 2018,
Everything was smooth and going well but at the same time, I had to learn many things on a daily basis.
Since I left my education from teenage I have never been to school again, I have never seen the high school, I have never been to university.
It was really hard for me to be in such a developed country without knowledge, without education and even if I was educated it could still be hard for me in Japan just because we need the Japanese language and that is our first priority as a foreigner living in Japan.
After working in IKEA for one and a half years, I decided to come back to India and start something on my own and it was also a dream for me.
So I started learning about something, that how we can make money without being educated. it’s funny, right? but that plan was awesome,
I started learning new things every day on youtube and I got kind of interest in building my own e-commerce website, isn’t that amazing?
I learned many things from scratch and finally, I could build my own private e-commerce website boom boom..!
I came back to India in November 2019 and again started working in a new company which is holy green. And this is also a good opportunity for me because I am learning many new things on a daily basis related to Japanese business and yes also this work is interesting because we work on the website and on top of that I can speak Japanese in my work and keep connecting with Japan.
